highly recommended .... always fresh fish, the staff is always kind and helpful I bought all kinds of fish, octopus, cuttlefish, sea bream, salmon, clams, mussels and sea bass never had any problems. I read a comment about oysters it seems strange to me as fish like oysters are made to order especially in the less busy periods. when the price has increased, they notify the customer before buying ... great fish and great staff good..

I have lived and shopped in this area for years and regularly walk past this delightful addition to our high street and, whenever I do, the staff have always been very friendly and polite and gently encouraged me to come in one day and buy some of their lovely, fresh fish. Today I took them up on their offer and am writing up a small review by way of demonstrating just how impressed I am with them and their store. The range of fresh fish on offer at Kings Seafood is first-rate and they do also have a selection of frozen produce on offer which is a bonus. The young gentleman who served me was kind, courteous and incredibly knowledgeable - he even offered me excellent advice on how to best prepare and cook the sea bream which I purchased and had them scaled, gutted and cleaned for me at no extra cost. I cooked the fish as he suggested; whole, drizzled with olive oil and a splash of water, seasoned with ground black pepper and sea salt plus some thin slices of lemon, wrapped in tin-foil and baked in a pre-heated oven (gas mark 4) for 20 mins, then removed from the oven and put to one side for a few minutes. The cooked fish was moist and had a deliciously delicate flavour which the simple seasoning and lemon brought out perfectly. Delicious! This truly is a gem of a store and I have no hesitation in giving it a full five star review. I will definitely be a returning customer, thank you.
